The recordings of the guitars are proceeding. Altough we had some days off, we managed to lay down a ton of guitar tracks. The instrumental parts of the album are growing to a unit. It's still a long road to walk and we don't intend to hurry things. The album will not see the light before spring 2009. Watch some footage of the recordings here.

RECORDING UPDATE AND PICS
Ok, here we are again: back from the hills, from our own little recording studio. The amps are still smoking and the echo stompboxes, we can't make em stop ringing out those notes notes notes notes notes notes notes ... erm... All in all the songs are taking shape and they start to look like songs. At least to us they do. But it's yet to soon to party - there is still a lot
of work to do. Like, another 99 tracks of guitar takes! And then the shouts! The whistles! The shakers! The growling! The explosions! The ... Sorry, getting a bit offroad right now.
To reassure you all, that we are not only partying hard, but also doing some

STUDIO REPORT
The first 7 days of studio time are over. We managed to record drums and bass guitar for 15 songs. The peace and seclusion of our studio place, amidst trees and nature, guaranteed concentrating work. John's Revolution gave their best. Even late at night at the traditional barbecue party we proved to be in bestform! This week we will use the time for guitar amp soundchecking and trying out all our different guitars and amps and effects and gadgets and and and ... Watch PART 1 of our Studio Report. |

into the Studio - debut album recording! The first year in John's Revolution's life is history! After touring all
across the country and playing at all the major festivals the band will now
retrieve into the studio, lock the door and throw away the key until the recording of the first album will be completed. John's Revolution would like to thank everybody who came to their concerts
and enjoyed a dance, a beer or two while listening to their music. Cheers. |
